HISTORY

In 1986 Cheryl did what all beginners do .... She took the infamous H&R Block Tax Prep course and worked for them for 3 years. During the tax years 89 & 90 she worked with a dear friend ... Debbie Hillyard owner and operator of Tioga Tax Service until an unfortunate car accident took Debbie's life Sept. 13, 1991 at which time Cheryl took over the business. In keeping Debbie's memory alive you will always find a rocking chair sitting in Tioga Tax Service office in remembrance of Debbie and her office in Mansfield with the Rocking Chair in the window and her sign ..... "Rock your Tax Worries Away".
Time Passes but memories are never forgotten .... We miss you Deb!!!

EXPERIENCE

Cheryl has been preparing tax returns for 20+ years. It is an ongoing learning experience going to many tax update training classes and doing much research for the answers.

Although she is not an enrolled agent and has no desire to do so it simply means that she cannot represent you in an audit, but she can attend an audit with you as your friend and tax preparer and guide you through it. In her 15+ years of owning Tioga Tax Service she has only been called to audit 1 time with a 1win 0 loses showing her expertise in guiding you with your legal deductions. The Internal Revenue Service is not out to get you.... sometimes you just have to explain the whys. :)
